ResponsibilitiesThe Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician works under the supervision of the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, or Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to support the operation of the Pharmacy Services by performing sterile compounding under supervision of the Pharmacist; operating and maintaining sterile compounding environment; preparing deliveries to patients; and participating in Quality Control and Quality Improvement activities. The majority of time on the shift is spent performing sterile compounding or supporting activities.
QualificationsEducation:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience:
Two years pharmacy tech experience required. Sterile Compounding experience preferred. Keyboard skills and ability to navigate electronic systems applicable to job functions.
LicensureCurrent applicable state Pharmacy Technician Licensure required prior to date of hire and maintained thereafter. Sterile compounding certification as provided by Legacy is required within 3 months of hire and to be maintained per applicable Guidelines.
Pay RangeUSD $29.09 - USD $36.82 /Hr.
