Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, implement, coordinate, and manage high-quality pharmaceutical care services for patients, clients, and staff.
- Represent the region and/or ministry on system, regional, and local committees.
- Organize and coordinate safe, appropriate, cost-effective medication therapy.
- Support the development, well-being, and education for pharmacy and non-pharmacy staff.
- Meet operational, productivity, and financial objectives.
- Promote medication safety through surveillance and education of pharmacy and non-pharmacy staff.
- Assist in budgeting and interact with human resources and talent development.
- Engage in succession planning and develop relationships with other leaders and caregivers at the ministry.
- Manage medication formulary, order-set standardization, and advance clinical pharmacy activities.
- Coordinate pharmacy s involvement as part of multidisciplinary teams and reduce clinical variation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and implement new technologies and processes.
- Optimize purchasing and inventory management.
- Coordinate onboarding and continuing education for staff and non-pharmacy departments.
- Serve as the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) of one or more pharmacies and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
- Coordinate investigational drug services.
- Bachelors Degree from an accredited college of Pharmacy.
- Oregon Pharmacist License upon hire.
- 2 years of Pharmacy experience in the applicable area.
- Preferred:
Pharm
D. - 1 year of Management experience.
