Nutrition Attendant in Patient Dining at Providence Portland Medical Center – On Call

• Provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. Adhere to Service Excellence Standards of Behavior at all times.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge and comply with regulatory requirements, food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure cleanliness of ware‑washing, service‑ware and equipment.
• Adhere to County/State Health department, hospital and department standards, policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist with patient dining services as needed.

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• National Food Handler Card — State, County, City Authority upon hire.
• At least 1 year of customer service, computer skills, patient interaction, healthcare food service and food service experience.
• Experience in healthcare food service using therapeutic diets.
• Proficient with computer applications (e.g., Word, Office) with a focus on data input.

• Experience in high volume call center.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.85 per hour. Additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities may be available.
