Nutrition Attendant in Patient Dining at Providence Portland Medical Center – On Call
Join our patient-focused team as a Nutrition Attendant, providing high-quality service and support in the dining area of our medical center.

- Provide a high level of customer service for patients, family members, volunteers, physicians and staff. Adhere to Service Excellence Standards of Behavior at all times.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge and comply with regulatory requirements, food safety and sanitation regulations for food service in a health care environment. Follow proper sanitation procedures to ensure cleanliness of ware‑washing, service‑ware and equipment.
- Adhere to County/State Health department, hospital and department standards, policies and procedures at all times.
- Assist with patient dining services as needed.
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- National Food Handler Card — State, County, City Authority upon hire.
- At least 1 year of customer service, computer skills, patient interaction, healthcare food service and food service experience.
- Experience in healthcare food service using therapeutic diets.
- Proficient with computer applications (e.g., Word, Office) with a focus on data input.
- Experience in high volume call center.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.85 per hour. Additional compensation such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities may be available.
