Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this phone-based role include:

• Primarily responsible is answering phones on multi-line system and scheduling patients.
• Obtaining and completing insurance information.
• Training to provide backup support for checking in and out new/established patients.
• Updating records as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:

• Level I: $19.59 - $26.51 per hour.
• Level II: $21.55 - $29.16 per hour.
• Level III: $23.71 - $32.07 per hour.

New employees typically begin at Level one and are assessed for moving up levels based on skills and additional duties within their role. Timelines for progression is very based on individual skillsets and performance in clinic.

This role is located at Legacy Emanuel Medical Office Building
2. Typical hours are Monday-Friday (7:45 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.).

• Minimum of one (1) year work experience, preferably in a medical office is strongly preferred. Specialty care OBGYN experience is a plus!
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is strongly preferred. Epic experience is a super plus!
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians and other team members.
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
