Seeking a part-time Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, treatment, and education for residents with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing setting.
Responsibilities- Assessing, diagnosing, and developing individualized treatment plans
- Conducting bedside swallowing evaluations and making dietary recommendations
- Providing therapy, documenting progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Educating residents, families, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies
- Supervising assistants and students, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology and valid licensure in Oregon
- Preferred CCC‑SLP certification; CFY candidates considered
- Experience in geriatrics or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills
This role offers 10 hours weekly, including weekends, in a supportive environment dedicated to enhancing residents’ quality of life.
