Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients or assigned groups according to standards of care and the nursing process, supervises and directs nursing staff, and coordinates care with other disciplines using critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision making.

• Collects and analyzes assessment data to determine diagnosis and care needs.
• Develops and implements care plans to achieve patient outcomes.
• Coordinates care delivery and promotes a health‑promoting, safe environment.
• Evaluates progress toward outcomes and identifies new patient needs.
• Collaborates with patients, families, and healthcare providers to deliver safe, humane patient care.
• Provides educational opportunities for patients, families, and staff.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties among the healthcare team.
• Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) – Preferred
• Acute care facility experience – Preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice – Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS/HS‑BLS/RQIBLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS/RQIACLS) – Required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS/HS‑PALS/RQIPALS) – Required

• 1 reference within the last 12 months.
• ER Skills Checklist and reference within a year required at request.
