Description

Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Employment Type: Permanent

Work Setting: Health and Rehabilitation Center

Pay Rate: Up to $65/hour

Shift Length and Days: 8–5 Mon‑Fri, can be flexible if needed

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services to clients, including one‑on‑one and group sessions as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, physicians, and families, to support client progress.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and outcomes.
  • Educate clients, families, and caregivers on strategies to enhance communication and swallowing skills.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
  • Language Pathologist License from the Board of Audiology & Speech Language Pathology in Oregon
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with facility staff to promote highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing
