Responsibilities
Outpatient Program Therapist responsibilities include facilitating productive and beneficial groups, supporting patients transitioning into and out of the program, coordinating with outside providers, and completing documentation efficiently. Outpatient Program Therapists carry caseloads of about 20 patients enrolled in the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) or Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). The responsibilities include running group therapy for about 20 hours per week, meeting individually with patients for case management/individual therapy needs, participating in multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings, and documenting all services (group, individual, etc.).
Qualifications- Education:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related degree - Licensure:
License preferred, not required (i.e. LMFT, LCSW, or LPC) - Experience:
1-2 years of experience, preferred
