LHH is supporting a values‑driven, privately owned organization in the Portland metro area that is hiring a Talent Acquisition Partner to elevate corporate recruiting strategy. This is a strategic, hands‑on role responsible for executive‑level recruiting, strengthening sourcing capabilities, mentoring a recruiter, and partnering closely with senior leaders across the business.
This is a hybrid position based in Portland, OR. Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a targeted base salary range of $90,000–$110,000, plus comprehensive benefits.
What You’ll Be Doing:- Own full‑cycle recruitment for business‑critical, non‑operations functions across the organization
- Lead senior‑level searches, including Director and VP talent, and contribute to occasional executive hiring initiatives
- Build proactive talent pipelines through creative sourcing methods, market mapping, and targeted outreach
- Act as a trusted advisor to hiring leaders by aligning talent strategy with evolving business priorities
- Provide day‑to‑day leadership and development to one recruiter, elevating overall team capability
- Strengthen the organization’s employment brand in collaboration with internal partners
- Identify gaps in current hiring workflows and implement improvements that increase efficiency and quality
- Champion a high‑touch, thoughtful candidate experience from intake to offer
- Support workforce planning conversations tied to organizational shifts or growth initiatives
- Contribute to early‑career or internship recruitment efforts as needed
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with demonstrated ownership of corporate hiring
- Background recruiting for professional functions such as Finance, People/HR, Technology, Commercial, or similar areas
- Experience closing senior‑level talent (Director and above)
- Strong capability in direct sourcing and building talent communities
- Ability to influence and guide leaders through hiring decisions with confidence and sound judgment
- Experience coaching or guiding other recruiters
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems and leveraging recruiting metrics to inform decisions
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build credibility quickly
- Collaborative, consultative approach with a balance of strategic thinking and hands‑on execution
