The Recruiting Coordinator at Pacific Seafood plays a critical role in supporting both Key Staff and High‑Volume recruiting efforts across site‑based and corporate teams in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment. This position ensures recruiting operations run smoothly by driving process accountability, maintaining data integrity, and coordinating candidate movement from interview through onboarding.

As a seafood company operating in seasonal and production‑driven cycles, priorities may shift quickly. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, collaborative, and energized by change while maintaining a professional and solution‑oriented approach.

Compensation: $20.00 - $22.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities

High‑Volume Recruiting Support:

  • Support seasonal, returner, and year‑round high‑volume hiring initiatives across multiple locations.
  • Coordinate interview scheduling, hiring events, orientations, and onboarding logistics.
  • Maintain accurate, real‑time data entry and candidate tracking within ATS, spreadsheets, and internal dashboards.
  • Monitor hiring timelines and staffing targets to ensure on‑time onboarding.
  • Monitor background checks and employment requirements after initiation by the recruiter; proactively follow up to ensure timely completion and provide status updates.
  • Provide occasional onsite support at hiring events or workforce coordination efforts as needed.

Key Staff Recruiting Support:

  • Coordinate complex interview logistics including phone, virtual, onsite, and panel interviews.
  • Collect and track post‑interview feedback to ensure hiring manager responses are received within established timelines.
  • Obtain hiring manager interview notes and ensure all feedback is accurately documented and uploaded into the ATS to maintain compliance and reporting integrity.
  • Monitor background checks and other pre‑employment requirements after initiation by the recruiter; proactively follow up to ensure timely completion and notify appropriate stakeholders of updates.
  • Upon background clearance, notify the hiring manager and send formal introduction emails connecting the candidate and site HR for onboarding coordination.
  • Support timely and compliant candidate dispositioning once hiring decisions are finalized.
  • Maintain accurate, real‑time updates within the ATS to ensure full visibility of pipeline activity.
  • Take detailed notes during recruiting and hiring meetings and distribute professional meeting recaps with clear action items.
  • Maintain tracking dashboards and proactively flag aging requisitions, missing feedback, or process delays.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary to support the overall goals and objectives of the position.

Required
  • Minimum of 1 year of administrative, HR, or recruiting coordination experience in a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
  • Strong data entry accuracy with intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience working within an ATS, CRM, or applicant tracking/reporting system.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work onsite five days per week.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.
Preferred
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience supporting both exempt (Key Staff) and non‑exempt hiring processes.
