Technical Project Manager II - AI Initiatives (Hybrid - Portland, Oregon)

Energy Solutions is seeking a Technology Project Manager II - AI Initiatives to join our Information Systems Team. This role coordinates the design, evaluation, and implementation of AI‑focused technology programs across the enterprise, working closely with IT and business teams to translate opportunities into actionable projects.

• Coordinate AI projects from concept through pilot phases to successful deployment.
• Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to anticipate and prioritize AI opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis of emerging AI technologies and platforms, proposing suitable tools.
• Evaluate vendors including pricing analysis and solution selection.
• Lead the coordination of cross‑functional AI pilots and evaluate results.
• Document technical requirements, usage scenarios, and best practices for AI tools.
• Assist in managing organizational change and ensuring adoption of AI solutions.
• Maintain up‑to‑date records on AI tools, policies, and documentation.
• Deliver regular progress reports and insights to senior leadership.
• Partner with Learning & Development to provide training content and assist with facilitation.

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology project management, IT, or digital transformation.
• Experience managing data and application security in AI platforms.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail in documentation.
• Skilled in translating technical details into accessible language for business audiences.
• Highly effective engagement and communication skills with an emphasis on presenting technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders.
• Exceptionally organized and able to balance multiple priorities, meet timelines and budget, and proactively escalates scope, schedule and budget risks.
• Work effectively independently with minimum supervision.

• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Replit or similar AI tools.
• Experience evaluating enterprise‑scale AI platforms or technology vendors.
• Background in IT operations or systems rollouts.

The salary range for this role is $92,058 - $118,019 with a target compensation of $100,000 - $110,000 based on experience and qualifications. Compensation includes a generous retirement package and benefits such as medical, dental, vision insurance, pre‑tax contribution plans and an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
