Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Database Administrator and assist the Systems Administration organization within parent org Platform Services. This assignment focuses on Oracle RDBMS support, including Exa Data, building and maintaining database services for line‑of‑business applications supporting human resources and financial management. Work must adhere to the facility’s cyber security policies and audit requirements.
Position DetailsThis is a 2‑year‑plus consultant position with a high probability of long‑term employment. Hybrid in Portland, OR: onsite 5 days/week for first 3‑6 months, then remote eligible. Hourly pay range is $70.00–$81.00 depending on qualifications and compensation package.
ResponsibilitiesAssist with Oracle RDBMS support, including Oracle 19c/23ai on Linux, troubleshoot Linux and Windows OS using logs, event logs, and utilities, build tools for other administrators, automate operations with scripting, manage TCP/IP and related services, perform patch management for Oracle Exa Data, and support enterprise scheduling systems.
Qualifications- 10+ years experience with applicable bachelor's degree (preferred).
- 15+ years experience without a degree (required).
- 10+ years experience administering Oracle 19c/23ai on Linux.
- 5+ years experience troubleshooting Linux and Windows systems using logs.
- 5+ years experience building automation tools with shell scripting, Perl, or Power Shell.
- 5+ years experience with TCP/IP and related services.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or RealID.
- U.S. citizenship required for Federal clearance.
- Managing Oracle Exa Data operations and patch management.
- Experience with enterprise scheduling systems.
- Proficiency in Perl.
- Experience configuring systems with Puppet Enterprise.
- Expert certification in SQL and/or Real Application Clusters.
