Onsite Engineer – Level 2 – Portland, OR – 5 days a week onsite – Contract role

We are looking for an Onsite Engineer – Level 2 to join our client’s IT team, providing hands‑on support to their user community. This role will act as a key point of contact for IT tickets, requests and issues, ensuring a high level of service delivery while representing the IT function onsite.

You will work closely with the IT Operations Manager and wider IT team, contributing to both day‑to‑day support and project‑based initiatives.

• Recognize, exemplify, and adhere to company values centered around People, Clients and Performance.
• Act as a point of contact for assigned IT tickets, requests, and issues.
• Triage IT tickets and resolve or elevate based on impact and severity.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT team members.
• Prepare IT hardware for end users and support the Windows desktop environment.
• Troubleshoot account and application‑related issues.
• Support software rollouts and new technology implementations.
• Ensure IT governance policies and SOPs are followed.
• Assist with IT projects and special assignments as required.
• Work under the guidance of the IT Operations Manager and IT Team Leads, with mentoring available from senior IT staff.

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an IT service delivery environment.
• Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong team collaboration skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts.

Hourly rate: up to 20 Doller her hour

Portland, OR – 5 days a week in office
