Help Desk Technician – Paradigm Information Services, Inc.

Location: Portland, OR •
Type: 6‑Month Contract •
Onsite

• Respond to user inquiries and provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, and network‑related issues.
• Log and track support requests using a ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical problems or escalating complex issues to higher‑level support.
• Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Provide support for Microsoft Office applications, email systems, and common business software.
• Follow up with users to ensure issues are resolved and provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain documentation of issues and solutions for future reference.

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or technical certification in IT preferred.
• Basic understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other tech products.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or macOS operating systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and grow in a fast‑paced IT environment.
• Customer service experience in a technical support role.
