Job Overview
Join AZAD Technology Partners as a Network Administrator and support the Network Administration organization, within the Infrastructure Services organization at the facility's Headquarters in Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA or field locations. This position will provide support for the facility's networking connectivity in an Internet/intranet environment. The role involves installing, configuring, troubleshooting and maintaining various network infrastructure components such as cable plants, patch panels, routers and switches.
ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and maintenance for network infrastructure to ensure reliable connectivity and high performance across all sites.
Qualifications- A bachelor's degree in network administration, computer technology, information technology or a closely related field is preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of experience with an applicable bachelor's degree.
- Minimum five (5) years of experience for candidates without a degree or applicable degree.
- Experience in the computer technology or related technical field.
- At least three (3) years of experience supporting IP networks within a large client pool environment.
- At least one (1) year of experience with Cisco products and IOS.
- Valid U.S. Driver's License or Real required.
- U.S. citizen status only for Federal Clearance Requirement.
- Experience with NIST and FIPS security controls.
- Minimum Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of Unix operating systems.
- Familiarity with LAN and WAN development principles, including sub‑nets, gateways and firewalls.
- Understanding of remote access technology principles and concepts.
- Basic wireless concepts and fundamentals.
- Configuration or change management concepts.
- Knowledge of networking protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
- Understanding of network components, operation and maintenance concepts.
- Understanding of network architecture principles, security principles and concepts.
- Experience with network management tools such as sniffers, inline tools, DHCP servers and trace route.
