Job DescriptionJoin AZAD Technology Partners as a Computer Hardware and Software Support in the End User Asset Management organization within the IT Department. This role supports the IT Asset Management Specialist and involves coordinating acquisition activities for all computer hardware, software, and peripherals under the Office Automation asset plan. The position requires strong working knowledge of computer systems, components, operating systems, and applications software.
Responsibilities include warehousing, tracking, distribution, and recovery of hardware assets and software licenses, as well as administering the agency’s mobile device program.
• 2‑year+ consultant position with high probability of long‑term employment.
• Hybrid – Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR with onsite 4 days per week.
• Hourly pay: $37.33, which includes a health and welfare fringe benefit of $5.09. The rate is based on qualifications and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent (required).
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a directly related technical field (preferred).
- Minimum 6 months of experience in Computer/Information Technology, preferably providing computer hardware and/or software support (required).
- Minimum 6 months working knowledge of computer systems, components, operating systems, and applications software (required).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (required).
- Knowledge of hardware and software lifecycle management (required).
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License or RealID (required).
- Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM)
- Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP)
- Certified IT Asset Manager (CITAM)
- Demonstrated logistics and/or warehouse systems experience
- Familiarity with procurement and/or asset ordering systems
