SAP FICO Analyst at NW Natural Portland

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP Senior FICO Analyst to support the Enterprise Applications team in Portland, Oregon (US-OR). The role involves providing expert support for SAP FICO modules, collaborating with finance and accounting teams, and ensuring effective implementation and maintenance of financial systems. Hybrid work is available for Oregon and Washington residents.

• Provide expert level support for SAP FICO modules, including configuration, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
• Act as a strategic partner with key business resources to shape the use, maturity, and further investments in deployed solutions.
• Perform system analysis, design, and testing to ensure the integrity and reliability of financial data.
• Develop and maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Work closely with IT and business teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and system optimizations.
• Participate in project planning, execution, and post‑implementation support for SAP‑related initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls related to financial systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with SAP FICO modules.
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, financial consolidations, cash and treasury management.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and within a team.
• Senior level experience supporting, configuring, extending, and operating SAP FICO on S/4 HANA or ECC.
• Proficiency with SAP Analytics Cloud (Planning), SAP Group Reporting, Open Text VIM, SAP Treasury, Power Plan Asset Accounting, SAP RE/FX, and SAP Project Systems (PS) is highly recommended.
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
• Participation in at least one end‑to‑end SAP Finance/FICO implementation; acting as a workstream lead or in a lead capacity is preferred.
• SAP certification in FICO is a plus.

• Base salary range: $98,450.00 – $ per year, depending on qualifications.
• Annual Target Incentive:
  Level 3, 9.5% target; payout may range from 0% – 200% of target.
