We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Financial Project Manager to join our ERP implementation team. Under the guidance of the Program Manager, you will own and execute the financial or multiple critical work streams within the overall Workday system implementation and its associated integrations. This role demands strong project management skills, the ability to manage a team and budgets, and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
It requires a focus on delivering results within defined timelines.
- Manage the detailed project plans, timelines, dependencies, budgets, and resource allocation for assigned workstream(s) of the financial ERP implementation, ensuring alignment with the overall project plan.
- Collaborate with business process owners and functional leads to define requirements, map processes, and configure systems in your designated area(s).
- Lead and guide a team of business analysts and other project team members within your assigned workstream(s).
- Proactively identify and manage risks within assigned work streams; escape potential impact on the broader project to the Program Manager; develop and implement solutions to keep your project components on track.
- Where required, work with Workday representatives and/or external partners to manage technical integrations and align on requirements.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Program Manager, team members, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive project documentation as per defined standards.
- Participate in the development of test plans for assigned workstream(s) and support execution of testing and UAT, ensuring issues are addressed.
- Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience, with demonstrated experience in technology implementations and managing budgets; deep financial knowledge is preferred.
- Understanding of core ERP concepts and familiarity with workstream areas such as HR, payroll, or finance.
- PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at working with both technical and business teams.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail.
- Location requirement:
Based in and able to commute to the Portland, OR area.
