Field Services Engineer Lead - Cognizant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on‑site support for desktops, rugged laptops, printers, handheld scanners, and conference‑room A/V equipment across office and manufacturing environments.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve break/fix incidents and deployment requests using ITSM ticketing workflows.
• Utilize SCCM for image deployment, software distribution, and patch management; ensure compliance and inventory accuracy.
• Leverage Nexthink and IT Shop for real‑time endpoint visibility, performance monitoring, and proactive issue identification.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement hardware upgrades, configure network connectivity, and maintain documentation of configurations and procedures.

• 4–7 years of hands‑on desktop support experience in both office and factory settings.
• Strong proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
• Experience using SCCM for imaging, software deployment, and patch management.
• Familiarity with ITSM platforms and endpoint monitoring tools such as Nexthink.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor junior technicians, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
