Sr. Infrastructure Analyst; Azure

Position: Sr. Infrastructure Analyst (Azure)
Nuveen Natural Capital is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Analyst to join our Information Technology team. The individual will install, configure, and maintain IT systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers. Working independently under limited supervision, this job implements solutions for end user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of computers are within established operational guidelines.

This role uses their knowledge of computer languages and operations to find and fix problems in computer networks, such as network communications errors, storage problems, and malfunctioning server platforms.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Performs complex analysis during normal IT Infrastructure operation, including on networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications and devices.
• Acquires, installs, and upgrades computer components and software and planning for service outages and other problems.
• Develops automation of routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement.
• Develops domain solutions and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.
• Configures multiple servers and associated networking to ensure their smooth and reliable operation.
• Reviews documentation as it relates to domain configuration, routing, processes, and service records.
• Creates current documentation of all equipment under operational control.
• Coaches and mentors the work of lower level professionals.

• 3+ years of experience in an Infrastructure role
• Experience in Azure Security
• Experience in Azure networking
• Review of existing documentation as well as creating new documentation
• Configure/Manage Remote Desktop on Azure VMs
• Configure/Manage Windows VDI
• Experience with Patch Management

Preferred

Skills:

• Ability to formulate system scope through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems
• Mentor end users on system designs and functionalities through creation of training materials and conducting demos.
• Experience in Troubleshooting.

Anticipated Posting End Date:

Base Pay Range: $70,100/yr - $95,700/yr

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
