Chief Information Officer (CIO – Technology Focus)
The CIO is responsible for defining and executing the organization's technology vision, ensuring scalable, secure, and cost-effective IT systems that enable business growth and digital transformation. This role oversees IT infrastructure, enterprise applications, cybersecurity, data strategy, and innovation, acting as a key strategic partner to the executive team.
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute enterprise IT strategy aligned with business objectives
- Advise CEO and Board on technology investments, innovation, and risks
- Lead IT transformation, modernization, and cloud adoption initiatives
- Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, cloud platforms, and end-user computing
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of systems
- Manage IT service delivery and vendor ecosystems
- Lead implementation and optimization of core systems (ERP, CRM, core platforms)
- Establish enterprise architecture standards and governance
- Ensure integration across systems and data platforms
- Define and implement enterprise cybersecurity strategy
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and local regulations
- Manage cyber risk, data privacy, and business continuity planning
- Drive data strategy, analytics, and AI adoption
- Enable digital products, automation, and customer-facing technologies
- Foster innovation and emerging technology adoption
- Establish IT governance frameworks and policies
- Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness
- Manage IT budgets, cost optimization, and ROI tracking
- Build and lead high-performing IT teams
- Develop leadership pipeline and technical capabilities
- Promote agile, Dev Ops, and product-oriented ways of working
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 15–20+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years in executive leadership roles
- Proven track record in IT strategy, digital transformation, and large-scale system implementations
- Strong expertise in cloud computing, cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and data platforms
- Experience managing large IT budgets and vendor ecosystems
- Strategic thinking and business alignment
- Strong technical depth with executive leadership capability
- Cybersecurity and risk management expertise
- Financial and operational acumen
- Stakeholder management and communication
