Position SummaryDAT is looking for a NOC Engineer I to join our platform team. The NOC team ensures our platform runs smoothly 24/7, coordinates teams when incidents occur, and reports platform health and performance to the business. This position reports directly to the SRE/NOC Manager and will work hybrid in Seattle, Washington;
Denver, Colorado; or Tigard, Oregon.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced NOC Engineer I who will maintain the stability and performance of our infrastructure, respond to incidents, and produce clear, data‑driven reports. The ideal candidate is outgoing, comfortable leading during incident response, and adept at communicating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
What You’ll Do- Oversee the daily operations of the Network Operations Center with teams in the US and India.
- Monitor performance and system health to meet uptime and reliability metrics.
- Develop, implement, and continually improve NOC processes and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to triage technical issues.
- Ensure all incidents are logged, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner; lead root cause analysis and follow‑up fixes.
- Provide regular reports on system performance and incidents, turning data into actionable plans.
- Build and maintain business metrics databases and dashboards for health and performance reporting.
- Participate in an on‑call rotation as needed.
- 1-3+ years of experience in network operations, project management, and business analytics.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure and networking with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- Experience with platform observability tools such as Datadog or New Relic.
- Experience with Incident Management tools such as Rootly, Pager Duty, or Opsgenie.
- Experience with business analytics tools such as AWS Quick Sight, Looker, or Tableau.
- Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with software development or scripting languages such as Python to automate systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL or other service management frameworks.
- Full‑time position with potential on‑call duties.

For Washington‑based candidates, in compliance with the Washington State Pay Transparency Law, the salary range for this role is $69,000.00 - $96,000.00 plus target bonus. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
