The mission of the Information Technology Group (ITG) is to develop, implement, and maintain technology-based services and solutions enabling OHSU to effectively manage information to accomplish its missions.

This position is a member of the Healthcare Professional Services Applications (HPSA) team and is primarily responsible for supporting cardiovascular and procedural systems, including CVIS, Pediatric and Adult Echo Labs, Cardio Cath Lab, GI departments, structured reporting systems, hemodynamic monitoring systems, imaging integrations, and endoscopy documentation systems.

The Applications Analyst is responsible for clinical application support, workflow optimization, incident management, technical documentation, asset management, application security activities, vulnerability remediation, technical project participation, and support of Application Engineers.

• Clinical Application & CVIS Support
  • Serve as primary analyst for CVIS and procedural applications.
  • Support Echo, Cath Lab, GI, integrations, upgrades, troubleshooting, workflow optimization, physician support, testing, and regulatory readiness.
• HPSA Operations, Security & Technical Support
  • Provide Tier 1 incident management.
  • Manage ticket triage.
  • Maintain documentation and wiki resources.
  • Support Application Engineers.
  • Maintain assets and configuration items.
  • Participate in security reviews, vulnerability remediation, patching, OS upgrades, operational maintenance, go‑lives, and ITIL processes.

• Master’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and two years' work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
  OR
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and four years' work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
  OR
• Associate’s degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and five years' work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
  OR
• Six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments;
  OR
• Equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate’s degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

• Successful candidates must have experience and working knowledge in operating system software, relational and/or hierarchical databases, and technical application support for administrative and clinical systems.
