RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of assigned client accounts, functioning as the primary advisor for coverage strategy, service delivery, and risk management in coordination with the Producer.
  • Develop and implement renewal and marketing strategies, ensure accurate and high-quality proposals, and lead the preparation and delivery of stewardship presentations with support from the Account Team.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex coverage issues, policy reviews, and contract requirements; negotiate with carriers to resolve gaps, minimize risk, and ensure client protection.
  • Conduct audits of new and existing insurance placements to identify potential coverage deficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance client programs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams—Producers, Account Managers, Claims, Loss Control, Analytics, and more—to deliver cohesive and client-focused risk management solutions.
  • Support business development by identifying cross-sell and account rounding opportunities, assisting in new business efforts, and building carrier relationships.
  • Participate in industry conferences, client claims reviews, and strategic planning sessions to strengthen client relationships, ensure service satisfaction, and stay informed on market trends.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum 8 years commercial insurance experience, agency preferred.
  • Appropriate States Agents License.
  • Industry-related certifications preferred.
  • College degree preferred.
  • 2+ years working in a similar capacity interfacing with customers directly in person and over the phone.
  • Agency Management Systems Experience - AMS Sagitta preferred.
  • Specific Industry knowledge e.g., Construction, Assisted Living, etc. a plus.
