LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant to join our law firm client in Portland, OR. This direct hire opportunity offers a hybrid work schedule of two days remote after the first 30 days of fully onsite for training. The Litigation Legal Assistant will format and proofread legal documents, manage attorney calendars, prepare documents for electronic filings, verify legal citations, and ensure litigation deadlines are met. Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to lawyers and paralegals
- Edit, format, and proofread legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and correspondence
- Submit attorney time entries timely and in compliance with billing guidelines
- Maintain confidentiality
- Manage attorney calendars and keep apprised of approaching litigation deadlines
- Maintain digital files and ensure compliance with firm procedures
- Prepare documents for electronic filings for state and federal courts
- Verify legal citation and formatting to court standards
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
- Associate’s Degree preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Strong document editing and formatting skills
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to manage tight deadlines in a past paced legal environment
Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 per year
