This attorney will work closely with multiple partners across a diverse caseload, gaining hands‑on litigation experience from early strategy through resolution. You’ll draft pleadings and motions, support depositions, and help manage discovery while building courtroom and client‑facing confidence.

• Draft and respond to discovery requests, pleadings, and motions
• Assist with taking and defending depositions, or prepare senior attorneys for depositions
• Conduct legal research and prepare briefs, memoranda, and persuasive advocacy materials
• Support case strategy development and participate in hearings, mediation, and negotiations
• Collaborate with multiple partners on a variety of employment litigation matters
• Manage deadlines and competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment

• 1 - 3 years of employment litigation experience preferred
• Open to candidates with strong litigation skills from other practice areas
• Experience defending depositions is a plus
• Excellent academic credentials and strong writing and analytical skills
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously with attention to detail
• Admitted to the Oregon State Bar
• Proactive self‑starter with strong initiative and the ability to work independently and collaboratively
