Job Summary

This role supports the Legal & Compliance Department by helping attorneys manage legal processes, conduct research, review documents, and support transactional work. The position focuses on organizing and preparing legal materials, analyzing issues with low to moderate complexity, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. Work is performed with growing independence and frequent interaction across teams and business units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review, organize, and prepare legal documents and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze statutes, regulations, and case law.
  • Support attorneys with business inquiries, transactions, and special projects.
  • Evaluate legal process requests and identify relevant issues.
  • Maintain accurate document management and ensure compliance with legal standards.
Skills And Background You’ll Need

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies or a Paralegal Certificate preferred.

Experience: 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in a law office or corporate legal department.

  • Experience reviewing legal documents, contracts, or regulatory materials.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles and insurance product structures.
  • Proficiency with legal research tools, case management systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Experience organizing large volumes of documents or supporting discovery.

The actual compensation for this role will be based on a combination of education and experience, knowledge and skills, position budget, internal equity, and market data.

Salary Range: 25.36 - 37.26
