- Knowledge of federal, state, and appellate court rules and procedures strongly preferred
- Notary license is a plus
This established law firm has been a fixture in the Pacific Northwest legal world for decades. They’re in the market for an experienced Probate Legal Assistant/Paralegal to support two primary attorneys working in estate planning, probate, and trust administration.
In this role, you’ll lean on your in-depth probate experience, as well as your strong understanding of the accounting fees and court rules and procedures related to probate matters. Day-to-day, you’ll take on substantive work including drafting correspondence, estate planning documents, and memos. Additional responsibilities involving litigated matters will include formatting and maintaining exhibits and spreadsheets, table of contents, tracking deadlines, and entering your billable hours.
Client correspondence is a significant element of this position, so professional communication and client service skills are imperative. Tech-savvy and analytical skills are also essential here, and a notary certification would be helpful.
This is an in-office role.
