Portland, OR (Onsite) –
Operations Manager
A successful and established e-commerce organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee fulfillment, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, logistics, and operational performance.
This is an opportunity to join a stable, highly tenured team and play a key leadership role in maintaining and improving an already successful operation.
Responsibilities- Lead daily operations across warehouse, fulfillment, inventory, purchasing, and logistics.
- Manage operational KPIs, labor productivity, inventory accuracy, and vendor performance.
- Oversee purchasing activities, inventory planning, supplier relationships, and contract negotiations.
- Drive process improvements, workflow optimization, and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on business planning, projects, and strategic initiatives.
- Support technology-driven operations within a highly e-commerce-focused environment.
- Lead, coach, and develop operational team members.
- Provide occasional after-hours and weekend support when business needs require.
- 7+ years of operations management experience.
- Required experience supporting e-commerce operations.
- Background in fulfillment, warehouse, inventory, purchasing, and supply chain management.
- Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
- ERP/WMS experience preferred, Net Suite experience is a plus.
- Lean, Six Sigma, or related process improvement experience is a plus.
- A hands‑on leader who leads by example.
- Someone who can balance strategic thinking with day‑to‑day execution.
- Strong operational and business acumen.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and solving complex operational challenges.
