Supply Chain Analyst

The Analyst gathers and provides inputs to align preseason deployment and fulfillment strategies for Wholesale in North America (NAM) and thus ensures seamless execution by tracking deviations to the aligned plans. This includes the planning for seasonal distribution center (DC) utilization, including the complexity of customer orders, to optimize fulfillment operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preseason Strategy Alignment:
    Gather and provide inputs from Account Management team to align preseason deployment and fulfillment strategies for Wholesale in North America (NAM).
  • Execution Tracking:
    Monitor and track deviations from aligned plans to ensure seamless execution of deployment and fulfillment strategies.
  • Account Direct Ship Targets:
    Gather and coordinate account direct ship targets at the division level to enable accurate DC utilization and capacity planning.
  • Customer VAS Requirements:
    Collaborate with Cost Services teams to gather customer value-added services (VAS) requirements and integrate them into fulfillment plans.
  • Deployment Strategy Meetings:
    Meet seasonally with Deployment teams to ensure alignment on deployment strategy and address any potential issues.
  • Stakeholder Inputs:
    Provide inputs to DC Operations, Inbound, and Finance teams to help manage long-term staffing and costs.
  • Performance Monitoring:
    Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to deployment and fulfillment to identify areas for improvement.
  • Data Analysis:
    Utilize data analytics to inform decision-making and optimize deployment and fulfillment strategies.
  • Reporting:
    Prepare and present regular reports on deployment and fulfillment performance, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of deployment and fulfillment operations for Wholesale.
  • Stakeholder Communication:
    Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Understanding of supply chain principles, including deployment, fulfillment, and inventory control. Knowledge of wholesale distribution processes and best practices, inclusive of direct, x-dock, and warehouse fulfillment types. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools to drive informed decision-making. Awareness of industry standards and regulations related to supply chain and logistics. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify trends and discrepancies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels. Advanced problem-solving skills to address supply chain challenges and close gaps. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion. Effective collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and drive alignment. High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in planning and execution. Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports on supply chain performance and readiness.

Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency. Ability to understand and contribute to the strategic vision of the supply chain function. Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers and meeting their expectations. Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive collaborative ways of working.

Understanding of customer value-added services (VAS) requirements and their integration into fulfillment plans. Knowledge of distribution center (DC) utilization planning and capacity management.

Education and Experience /

Minimum Qualifications

College or university degree with a focus supply chain management, post-graduate level preferred; alternatively equivalent combination of education and related work experience in the field of Logistics, Footwear and/or Apparel Minimum of 1-3 years of work experience, preferably in Supply Chain Management or Customer Service environment within the footwear and apparel industry
