WHO WE RE LOOKING FORWe re looking for a Demand & Inventory Planning Specialist who brings analytical precision and operational discipline to our supply planning function. This role will own the demand forecasting and inventory planning process across our Strength and Jewelry product lines, ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time, at the right cost. You thrive on working with data, building reliable forecasts, and translating numbers into decisions that keep every channel stocked, every partner confident, and the business running efficiently.

This role will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Build and maintain rolling SKU-level demand forecasts across all sales channels, including Amazon, B2C Ecommerce, B2B Facilities, and Wholesalers, for both the Strength and Jewelry product lines
- Own inventory position visibility across the network, including on-hand, in-transit, and on-order, and proactively flag at-risk SKUs for both stockout and overstock scenarios
- Translate demand forecasts into clear, data-backed replenishment recommendations for the Supply Chain Director to drive PO creation and purchasing decisions
- Monitor and optimize days-of-supply and safety stock targets by SKU, right-sizing inventory levels as forecast accuracy and planning confidence improve
- Facilitate the S&OP process in partnership with Ecommerce and Sales, bringing forecast data and inventory constraints to the table to align demand, supply, and commercial decisions on a regular cadence
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain Director on production wave timing to ensure inbound product is receipted at the right time relative to channel demand
- Support optimization of inbound shipment timing, freight consolidation, and DC receipt planning to reduce logistics and storage costs
- Pull and reconcile sales data from Amazon, ECOM, and B2B/wholesale partner channels; maintain planning dashboards and reporting for cross-functional stakeholder visibility
- Work daily across ERP, Order Management, Inventory Management, and Catsy (PIM) to maintain data accuracy and planning integrity
- Partner with Ecommerce, Sales, Product, and Finance teams to align planning with channel needs, trading partner commitments, and product launch timelines
- Identify gaps and inefficiencies in the current planning process and proactively recommend improvements, helping build the planning infrastructure as D6 grows
You'll report to the Supply Chain Director and collaborate closely with the Ecommerce and Sales teams as a core facilitator of the S&OP process. You'll be the demand and inventory planning expert, partnering with the broader Supply Chain, Marketplace, Product, and Finance teams to ensure product availability, launch readiness, and operational efficiency are always grounded in a reliable, current forecast. You'll also interface with wholesale and retail trading partners as needed to align on inventory commitments and replenishment expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS REQUIRED
- 3 to 6 years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, supply chain analysis, or a closely related operations role
- Analytical proficiency, comfortable working with data sets, building forecasts, and drawing actionable conclusions from sales and inventory data;
Excel fluency required, experience with AI or planning tools a plus - Strong attention to detail, catching the discrepancy in a data set before it becomes a planning error; brings precision to every number they own
- Systems aptitude, picks up new software quickly; comfortable navigating ERP, OMS, and demand planning platforms;
Fulfill experience a plus, not required - Process orientation, naturally thinks in workflows, dependencies, and checklists; understands that a good planning process is more reliable than a heroic individual effort
- Collaborative communicator, works well across functions, surfaces risks early, and brings solutions rather than just problems
- Experience in sporting goods, fitness equipment, apparel, or consumer products supply chain preferred; understanding of seasonal demand patterns and product lifecycle planning is a meaningful advantage
