Inside the Role
As an Import Entry Review Analyst II, you will play a key role in supporting DTNA's import compliance program by helping ensure customs entry information is accurate, complete, and compliant before filing deadlines. Working closely with customs brokers, Trade Compliance, Customs Operations, Procurement, Finance, and other business partners, you will analyze import data, investigate exceptions, and support corrective actions that reduce compliance risk and improve data quality.
This role combines analytical problem-solving, process improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration. Leveraging Palantir, reporting tools, and automated controls, you will help identify trends, improve entry accuracy, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to DTNA's ongoing efforts to build a world‑class import compliance program.

We Take Care of Our Team Position offers a starting salary range of $78,000 - $100,000 USD Pay offered dependent on knowledge, skills, and experience

- Manage the Trade Compliance import mailbox and serve as a primary point of contact for customs brokers, carriers, suppliers, and internal business partners, providing timely guidance to support compliant import transactions and prevent shipment delays.
- Analyze exception reports, data trends, and quality indicators to identify potential import compliance concerns.
- Review import transaction data and supporting documentation to validate the accuracy of customs entry information.
- Investigate discrepancies and coordinate corrective actions with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Provide guidance regarding import requirements, entry data, documentation, classification support, and other customs‑related questions to facilitate compliant import transactions.
- Prioritize and manage review activities based on business requirements, compliance risks, and filing deadlines.
- Validate that identified issues have been resolved and corrective actions have been completed accurately.
- Analyze recurring issues and recommend opportunities for process improvements and enhanced controls.
- Develop and maintain reports, metrics, dashboards, and performance measurements supporting import compliance activities.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of automated monitoring tools, business rules, and quality controls while partnering with cross‑functional stakeholders to strengthen DTNA's import compliance program.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Logistics, Data Analytics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience reviewing, analyzing, or validating data to identify trends, discrepancies, or improvement opportunities.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a deadline‑driven environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and other business applications to organize and analyze information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in customs compliance, customs brokerage, import operations, logistics, supply chain, or global trade compliance.
- Knowledge of customs entry processes, HTS classification, valuation, country of origin, or trade agreement requirements.
