** _What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health_*
* Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning.
Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.
** _Job Summary _*
* The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Coordinator, Inventory Management plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams.
** _Responsibilities:_*
* + Participating in Prime/Reserve cycle counts
+ Maintaining chase area, including cycle count
+ Conducting investigations for missing stock
+ Identifying and logging damaged products
+ Removing and logging short dated items
+ Putaway of product
+ Tasking
** _
Qualifications:
_*
* + 1-2 years recent experience preferred
+ Ability to operate warehouse PIT equipment - Order Selector preferred
+ Comfort working with heights 20-30 feet regularly
+ Radio frequency (RF) scanner and/or voice to pick experience preferred
+ Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
+ Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
+ Must be able to work overtime with little to no advance notice
+ Aptitude to work in a fast paced distribution environment while meeting hourly established distribution quotas and performance standards
+ Flexibility/adaptability coupled with good multi-tasking skills
