Facility Maintenance Supervisor – Night Shift

What You Will Be Doing
  • Supervise daily maintenance and sanitation activities, ensuring efficient operations.
  • Manage preventative maintenance, plan tasks, and coordinate computer maintenance systems.
Main Responsibilities Facility Maintenance
  • Supervise and train maintenance associates, ensuring timely preventive maintenance.
  • Use the computerized maintenance program to create, monitor, and close maintenance and job tasks.
  • Facilitate inspections as needed.
  • Verify work orders, ensuring correct inventory procedures.
  • Order parts, supplies, or tools to accomplish all jobs.
Sanitation
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal sanitation and pest control regulations.
  • Implement and maintain control programs to keep the facility free of insects and rodents.
  • Supervise and train sanitation associates.
  • Facilitate inspections, as needed.
  • Order parts, supplies, or tools to accomplish all jobs.
  • Monitor and maintain department accounts, ensuring budgets are adhered to.
  • Coordinate with contracted landscape company on grounds maintenance.
  • Administer recycling program.
  • Recommend new and replacement equipment.
Education Level
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Skills and Experience
  • Knowledge of computerized maintenance programs for scheduling and inventory.
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise and motivate teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Basic computer skills with word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Strong analytical skills for administrative tasks and maintaining mental alertness.
