The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is seeking a regular, part-time Custodian I scheduled 25 hours per week. The Custodian I provides custodial and support services for all OMSI facilities, activities, and events. Custodial staff serve to help ensure that OMSI provides a clean, safe, and healthy environment for all guests and staff.
QualificationsQualified candidates will have, but not limited to:
- Business Practices: Attention to detail and strong organizational skills;
- Strong customer service and communication skills;
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality, protocol, and community agreements;
- Ability to pivot between individual and team work;
- Ability to model and support a positive team dynamic with paid and unpaid staff.;
- Custodial
Skills:
Working knowledge with operating and maintaining custodial tools; - Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve custodial-related issues;
- Ability to learn and follow safety and protocol regulations.
