Custodian; Nights

Overview

As a Custodian at Holiday Park Plaza, you’ll provide routine and spontaneous cleaning services for community common areas and support set up and take down of gathering spaces. You’ll get the chance to interact with our residents on a daily basis and ultimately feel like you’re making an impact on someone’s life every day!

Wed-Sun Night 10:30pm-7:00am OR Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 7:00am-3:30pm/ Thursday 2:00pm-10:30pm

Wages
: $18.50-$22.40 / hr DOE

You will provide routine and special cleaning services throughout the community in an effort to promote a progressive customer service culture this position. This position also provides set up and take down of events, both resident and general public.

Actively participate in the department’s standard training program to become increasingly skilled in your area of focus.

Approach all encounters with residents, guests, and co-workers in a gracious, attentive, and courteous manner.

Provide labor in the set-up of resident and outside events in the various meeting rooms throughout the community.

Operate special equipment for floor care in public areas and residential units, in a safe and professional manner, and in accordance with manufacturers' guidelines.

Clean respective areas as assigned.

Complete minor maintenance tasks as assigned.

Set up and take down events in the meeting rooms. This includes chairs, tables, and audio/video equipment.

Shampoo carpets, wax floors, wash windows, and remove trash.

Be knowledgeable of emergency procedures and act in a calm manner in the event of an emergency.

Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year's experience in custodial, cleaning, or a related field is preferred.
• Skills in operating custodial and cleaning equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of green cleaning solutions, chemicals, and pertinent cleaning supplies. Ability to read and understand labels.
