About Hopewell House

Founded over 35 years ago and reopened as a nonprofit residential care facility in 2023, Hopewell House has been a place of refuge, dignity, and support at the end of life. Hopewell House is a 12-bed residential hospice home serving individuals who might otherwise have nowhere to turn. Hopewell House is known not just for the care it provides, but for our guiding values: compassion, humility, respect, mindfulness, and hope.

The successful candidate will be equally comfortable ensuring regulatory compliance and quality resident care, leading and supporting a dedicated interdisciplinary team of 40 staff and 150 volunteers, partnering closely with the Board of Directors, and cultivating the financial and philanthropic resources needed to sustain and grow the mission.

Key Areas of Focus

  • Serving as the administrator of record and operational steward of the home, ensuring the facility operates safely, smoothly, and in full compliance with all government regulations.
  • Providing oversight for the financial health, sustainability, and revenue generation of the organization, stewarding an approximately $2.5 million annual operating budget.
  • Serving as the primary ambassador and public face of Hopewell House, enhancing the organization’s visibility and reputation through active community engagement.
  • Collaborating with the Board of Directors to set strategic priorities, supporting Board compliance with bylaws, policies, and best practices in nonprofit governance.
Who We’re Looking For
