Offshore Lead, Marine Operations

When not offshore, this is ideally an on-site position.

• Deploy, operate, and maintain the node technology on a large scale across oceanic regions.
• Provide on‑site leadership for offshore operations including load outs, wet towage, deployments, recoveries, moorings, and test campaigns.
• Lead a small team of technicians performing offshore operations.
• Coordinate efforts of critical vendors such as vessel operators, ports, equipment operators, and divers.
• Collaborate with engineering to commission, test, improve, and develop new equipment and procedures for offshore operations.
• Build and grow the offshore team structure in partnership with senior leadership.
• Oversee maintenance of owned equipment.
• Interface with regulators ("USCG, ABS") as required.

• 5+ years as Master in offshore towing operations.
• Experience with ocean towing and towing vessels.
• Ability to travel up to 50% offshore.
• Demonstrated record of cultivating a safety‑first culture.
• Experience directing complex offshore operations.
• Experience collaborating with engineering groups.
• Relevant maritime education or certifications.

• Cash compensation of $180,000–$230,000.
