Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Sandblaster role in Portland, OR

• Operate and maintain sandblasting equipment to clean, prepare, and finish metal surfaces according to production specifications.
• Select appropriate abrasives and adjust equipment settings to achieve desired finishes.
• Inspect parts before and after blasting to ensure proper surface preparation and quality standards are met.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of sandblasting equipment and work areas.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the use of proper PPE, ventilation systems, and containment methods.
• Collaborate with fabrication and coating teams to ensure timely workflow and quality output.
• Properly handle and dispose of blasting media and other materials in accordance with environmental and company guidelines.
• Maintain detailed records of work completed, materials used, and any equipment issues.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior experience in sandblasting, surface preparation, or metal finishing preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Understanding of industrial safety procedures and PPE use.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
