Maintenance Technician

Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Maintenance Technician role in Portland, OR. • Perform routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance on production and facility equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues on manufacturing equipment.

• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems in a timely and safe manner.

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and documentation.

• Follow all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with production and operations teams to support daily manufacturing goals.

• Assist with installation, setup, and testing of new equipment as needed.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas, tools, and equipment.

• Promptly report safety hazards, equipment failures, or recurring maintenance issues to leadership.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or maintenance certification is a plus.

• Previous experience as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.

• Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities.

• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.

• Competitive hourly wage. $28-$32 DOE.
