A global leading frozen foods company, located in North Portland, is looking to add a Production Lead to their expanding team. They pride themselves on having a diverse culture that supports their employee's growth with a commitment to provide healthy meals to their customers.
This is a temp-to-hire opportunity where you would be responsible for supporting a dedicated production line to ensure that deadlines are met, supporting the team by ensuring that equipment is properly set up and monitoring inventory levels.
Production Lead Duties:
- Assign work to production employees
- Ensure personnel is meeting daily production requirements
- Training and delegation
- Oversee activities of production employees to ensure quality, sanitation standards and safety standards are adhered to.
Production Lead Requirements:
- Must have minimum of 1 year machine operator experience
- Minimum of 6+ months of leadership experience required
- Ability to adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices
- Must be able to do repeated heavy lifting and work in repetitive motion
- Must be flexible to work occasional Saturdays
