Warehouse Associate

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products by hand or with basic material handling equipment.

• Operate a variety of equipment to unload and load and move products.

• Weigh products, wrap goods and pack and unpack products.

• Process incoming requisitions which include picking, checking, and packing orders.

• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and other documents.

• Shipment of orders.

• Restock bins.

• Maintain and organize inventory.

• Use the inventory control system to locate information, search orders, or investigate discrepancies.

• Clean warehouse constantly.

• Other general warehouse duties as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Physically able to lift heavy shipments and products up to 50 lbs.

• Experience with operating industrial lift trucks, pallet jack, forklifts, and order picker required - you don't need to be currently certified but with experience as the role requires 50% operating lifting and picking machinery.

• Good communication skills (verbal and written).

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Ability to work at a fast pace.

• Significant use of memory.

• MS Office skills include the ability to work and function in a computerized environment and inventory control system.

• Experience with scan gun picking will be an asset.

• Team player with a positive attitude.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Steel-toed safety boots required.

• One year of related experience is required.

• Must be comfortable working in an environment with 36 feet high ceilings.
