Role Overview

The Project / Production Manager plays a central role in delivering The S Group’s integrated services across design, development, production, and logistics. This position is responsible for managing client programs from initial planning through final delivery, ensuring alignment between internal teams, manufacturing partners, and brand stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings strong technical apparel experience, exceptional organizational discipline, and the ability to coordinate complex global workflows with clarity and confidence.

Key Responsibilities Account & Project Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned brand partners, managing relationships with professionalism and accountability.
  • Develop and manage seasonal project timelines aligned with client milestones and product launch calendars.
  • Coordinate cross-functional internal teams to ensure deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Manage day-to-day operational priorities across multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify risks early and escalate issues appropriately to maintain project integrity and company standards.
  • Maintain complete and accurate project documentation across internal systems.
Production & Sourcing Management
  • Guide sourcing decisions based on an understanding of mill capabilities, factory strengths, and product requirements.
  • Review and negotiate costing to meet client margin targets while protecting company profitability.
  • Execute client purchase orders through internal sourcing teams, ensuring development approvals and costing accuracy.
  • Oversee production progress to ensure on-time delivery, proactively resolving challenges when they arise.
  • Manage inspection, testing, and quality approvals prior to shipment authorization.
  • Maintain accurate data across Line Plans, Work-in-Progress tracking, and ERP systems.
  • Coordinate packing, shipping, and delivery requirements specific to each brand partner.
Qualifications Industry Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in apparel sourcing, development, or production management.
  • Strong understanding of the apparel lifecycle from concept through manufacturing and delivery.
  • Experience with technical or performance apparel manufacturing preferred.
  • Familiarity with fabrics, trims, garment construction, and testing standards.
  • Ability to engage in technical conversations regarding costing, materials, and production processes.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, internal teams, and global manufacturing partners.
  • Confidence facilitating meetings and presenting information clearly.
  • Ability to communicate complex or sensitive information with professionalism and tact.
  • Experience working with multinational partners across time zones and cultures.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve or elevate issues appropriately.
