Receiving Lead - Swing Shift

Job Description Receiving Lead Milgard Windows & Doors (Part of MITER Brands)  Tualatin, OR  

Shift: Swing Shift (Monday–Friday)  Pay: $29.58/hour + $2.00/hour shift differential Position Summary Milgard Windows & Doors is seeking a driven and experienced Receiving Lead to oversee daily operations within the Receiving Department. In this role, you will lead and support a team, ensure materials are received accurately and safely, and partner cross-functionally to keep production running efficiently. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations Oversee all receiving activities, ensuring materials match purchase orders, quantities are accurate, and items are undamaged Lead and support team members to meet departmental goals and performance expectations Coordinate and schedule waste and recycling pickups Partner with production, purchasing, and warehouse teams to prevent stockouts and maintain workflow Maintain accurate documentation and inventory processes Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency within the department Requirements Forklift experience is required Crane experience strongly preferred Minimum of 1 year experience in receiving, material handling, or warehouse operations Customer service or internal partner support experience preferred Glass handling or window/door manufacturing experience is a plus Education & Certifications High School Diploma or GED required Some college preferred Forklift certification (or ability to obtain) required Skills & Abilities Ability to perform basic math calculations, including fractions Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements Prolonged standing on concrete floors (up to 12 hours) Frequent bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly Ability to climb ladders and perform repetitive tasks Good hand-eye coordination and visual accuracy Work Environment Warehouse/manufacturing setting with varying temperatures Required use of PPE, including safety glasses and hearing protection Overtime may be required, including some weekends Why Join Milgard (MITER Brands)?
