General Laborer – Extrusion – Day Shift

Hydro Extrusions is a world‑leading aluminium extrusion business with around 100 production sites in 40 countries. As a General Laborer in our Extrusion team, you will support the daily production of aluminium products, ensuring quality and safety on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Receive and interpret packing instructions from the saw operator.
- Cut wood on the saw for packing or banding as needed.
- Assist with lifting metal from racks to packing carts for long extrusions.
- Maintain identification for all racks and bundles in process.
- Load metal onto conveyor belt when required.
- Visually inspect ends, cut length, and material to ensure accuracy and quality prior to packing.
- Ensure finished material leaves the area properly packaged and marked.
- Notify Lead Person of potential problems with pack patterns.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Read and understand all work and safety instructions relevant to the position.
- Use and maintain basic tools and measuring equipment pertinent to the role.
- Work cohesively in a team environment.
- Keep up with a moderate speed conveyor line.
