We are seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dedicated CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a permanent position where you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines, ensuring the efficient running of production. Our ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the manufacturing process, a keen eye for detail, and a strong commitment to producing high-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Fanuc CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, milling etc.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings etc.
• Translate instructions into computer commands so the machines can perform the correct function.
• Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
• Test operation of machines periodically to guarantee their smooth running.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and repair minor damages.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace in accordance with company policies and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure machinery efficiency, proper job sequencing, and coordinated workflow.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar role in the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in using Fanuc CNC and Fanuc software.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mill and lathe operations.
• Expertise in machine programming and CNC machine operation.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
• Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• A keen eye for detail and results-driven approach.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma in engineering or relevant discipline is a plus.
• Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items.
