JOB TITLE:
Industrial Engineer 2
LOCATION:
Portland, OR
PAY RATE: $50.50/hour
- Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

- Focuses on production stability and implements lean methodologies to improve flow of products and people.
- Assesses and performs to rate readiness requirements for manufacturing operations.
- Reviews facilities footprint and recommends improvements for layout and workflow.
- Utilizes root cause analysis and process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Performs capacity planning, forecasting for staffing, and recovery planning for factory operations.
- Conducts analytics and time studies to support manufacturing and engineering teams.
- Applies work measurement techniques to establish standard times and process benchmarks.
- Supports supply chain logistics, transportation, and fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies.
- Collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations.
- Defines, develops, implements, and improves production processes.
- Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
- Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering field.
- 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, or production environment.
- 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Experience with work measurement and time study methodologies.
- Experience with problem solving including root cause analysis.
- Manufacturing experience in aerospace or related industry.
- Experience with capacity planning and staffing forecasts.
- Experience with lean principles and continuous improvement tools.
- Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) to comply with ITAR regulations.
