Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Cabinetmaker/Assembler role in Portland, OR. Our client is a well‑established commercial cabinet shop known for producing high‑end retail store fixtures, displays, and architectural millwork for the casino, hospitality, and gaming industries. With a strong reputation for craftsmanship and quality, they take pride in delivering exceptional custom products while maintaining a professional and team‑oriented work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings to determine required parts and assembly specifications.
  • Assemble and build commercial cabinetry, store fixtures, displays, and architectural millwork components.
  • Operate stationary and portable woodworking equipment along with related hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure accuracy and quality throughout the assembly and production process.
  • Lift, move, and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Assist with special projects and additional production needs as required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a cabinetmaker, assembler, or woodworking professional required.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
  • Experience using woodworking machinery, power tools, and hand tools.
  • Ability to lift and handle up to 50+ lbs regularly throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of professionalism and ethics.
Schedule & Pay
  • Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
  • Availability for weekday overtime and occasional weekend shifts as production schedules dictate
  • Pay ranges from $27.00 – $29.00 per hour depending on experience
