Production Operator - Portland Plant

Danone North America is looking to hire a Production Operator based in Portland, Oregon where we manufacture frozen yogurt and ice cream. In this role, you will be trained as filler, sanitation, and flavoring and will operate within openings inside production.

• Starting wage of $25.77 per hour
• Monday through Thursday on 4x10's
• Swing Shift: 3 pm - 1:30 am
• Pay for Performance: incentive bonus annually

In this role, you will support the manufacturing plant by primarily being responsible for upholding the Safety, Quality, and Accuracy of product flavoring, filling, and packaging, and sanitation.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Mixing ingredients using a formula provided by R&D
• Maintaining flavor documentation on batch sheets provided by R&D
• Monitoring the supply of packaging for the production quantity on order
• Performing cleaning and sanitizing functions for all circuits, pipes, tanks, valves, and related equipment
• Coordinating with other operators and pasteurizers to maintain and monitor tank space
• Reviewing and interpreting CIP data and troubleshooting CIP non-conformities
• Verifying bulk milk and sugar documentation, tank space, and receiving raw ingredients (i.e., milk, cream, sugar) according to procedure
• Operating powered industrial trucks (i.e., forklifts)
