Job OverviewIndustrial Engineering contractors will focus on production stability, implementing lean methodologies, assessing and performing readiness requirements, reviewing the facilities footprint for improvements, and utilizing root cause analysis and process improvements to improve the flow of products and people throughout the site. Candidates will engage with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self‑starter and collaborative team player. The business unit offers exposure to all aspects of aerospace manufacturing, including supply chain logistics and transportation, and the fabrication of raw materials into products and assemblies delivered to assembly and installation programs worldwide.
Day-to-DayActivities
- Industrial engineer supporting factory operations.
- Capacity planning, forecasting for staffing, recovery planning, analytics, time studies.
- Highly proficient in Excel.
- Experience with work measurement.
- Problem solving, including root cause analysis.
- Manufacturing experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in an Engineering field.
- 2 or more years of experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment.
- 1 or more years of experience defining, developing, implementing, or improving production processes.
